The calorie count for each of the proteins we use varies based on the particular protein. For instance, Elk and Venison sticks have approximately 11 calories per 1" square. The Beef, Chicken and Pork varieties are made into 6" sticks which each have an approximate calorie count of 35-45 calories per stick depending on the moisture variance and composition of each batch. Remember, any "treat" is intended to be just that...a treat! Just like us humans, no treat should ever replace a complete and well balanced diet for any of our faithful canine companions. If that were not the case, I would live on cake!
