Beef jerky can be safe for dogs if it is free from harmful ingredients like onion, garlic, or excessive salt. However, many commercial "human consumable" beef jerky products contain MSG and additives that are not healthy for dogs, or humans for that matter. At Miss Nelly's we make jerky for dogs. We don't use any "sketchy" ingredients in any of our recipes. And like we've always said "dog can taste and smell the difference"! Our treats smell like you smoked them at home. That's what you want!
